  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on a 23 song mixtape few years back for a rapper and it took 30days to complete it because they were behind schedule and need to finish things up quickly. I produced half the songs and mixed every song. Lived in the studio for this and it was fun. This, i'm really proud of.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on 2 projects with couple artists where i am mixing, mastering and also producing some of the songs.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: myself

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both. Because i'm still old school in how i work but i can see what digital brings to the table to i like a blend of both. I believe its the perfect combo

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise my clients good music and great sound quality. I put good sound first and i assure them that as long as we are in this studio, we can and will whatever we set our mind, energy and time to.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I enjoy having to sit down and listen to a song that never existed. Sound and rhythms that weren't alive before, just imaginations or ideas. So listening to a song i produced, mixed or mastered gives me alot of joy because i know none of it existed before but here i am listening to this great piece we put together. The journey is rewarding and satisfying

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: If i can make their ideas come to life and my answer is always yes

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: It's offensive to see some people dont consider it to be a real career until you are famous

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I like to know what or who inspires them, music they listen to and musicians they look up to. This gives me a clear idea of who I'm working with

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Go with your heart and choose wisely. Don't always look for the cheap way out.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Laptop, Headphones, Audio interface, Drumpad, Micrphone

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I am a full time Audio Engineer. I have been doing this for around 15 years now

  26. A: Chilled, old school and modern blend, soulful and happy. Rhythmic

  28. A: J. Cole, Burna Boy..I love their music and i can see myself creating a masterpiece if ever given the chance to work with them

  32. A: Afrobeats, HipHop, Acoustic, Reggae, Dancehall, RNB

  34. A: Mixing and paying attention to detail. Ear for good sound

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring clarity, creativity, i bring life to a song. I take an idea and make it better. My goal is to add value to a song so my client walks out happy.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Listening to the song for a while and mapping out my ideas, cleaning up the mix and balancing the waves, EQing vocals\instruments to make sure everything is in a good space and also to create headroom. fast forward, adding reverb and other plugins to make it sound good

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: My studio setup is modern and 50% digital. I use Eris 5's and KRK 10's for monitor and Audio Technica headphones. Apollo audio interface and a few other gears to keep sound up

  42. A: Hans Zimmer, Kanye West, Rick Robin, Just Blaze, Dr Dre,
