Miguel Fajardo on SoundBetter

Hi I'm Miguel, violinist based in Mexico, I mainly play Jazz, specially Gypsy Jazz, Manouche. Also play Klezmer, Classical Music, Tango, Pop, and many popular styles. My last work which you can listen on Spotify is an album, collaborative composition for piano and violin, by Pedro Dabdoub (composer for Alejandro Fernandez and Danna Paola) and I.

I've been a musician for 22 years, I used to play with the Symphony Orchestra of San Luis Potosi in Mexico, played as a soloist, played chamber music with great classical musicians like Vladimir Petrov and Karen Bentley. So my classical training gave me great sight reading skills and classical violin technique.

Then I met jazz and started a whole new chapter in my career doing improvisation, I studied with great teachers like Tim Kliphuis the art of harmony, Jazz scales, the sound of Grappelli.

I have played many festivals, made about 10 albums, produced 2 of them, collaborated with great artists like Pedro Dabdoub, Karen Bentley, and el Inti.

The services I can provide with great professionalism are:

- Violin recording (improvisation or reading a piece of music already in paper)
- Strings arrangements
- Scores transcriptions (audio, midi to sheet music)
