Pieter Bourke established 33rd Degree Music Studio in 2002. Located in Melbourne, Australia, the space was designed and equipped with a focus on electronic music production and mixing. The critical last stage of a music project often involves more than just mixing. Even if your recordings are mix ready, gaining a new perspective from fresh ears at the end of a project can make a world of difference to the final result. Pieter understands this process and will strive to achieve the musical results you're aiming for. Bourke believes there’s a genuine need for an affordable studio service catered to electronic music producers.

Nothing rivals the immediacy of hardware instruments for ‘hands on’ sound creation and performance. 33rd Degree Studio is an analog / digital hybrid, offering a wealth of processing options, from subtle to extreme, brutal to beautiful. Outboard processors include units from Kush Audio, Rupert Neve Designs, Avalon, Millennia Music Systems, Universal Audio, SPL and Buzz Audio. 33rd Degree Studio is equipped with Focal SM9 3-way mid field reference monitors.
