I love delivering top notch guitar tracks. I've extensively researched not only the techniques but the precise signal chains to create Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Folk, Indie and beyond. I've been a professional guitarists for 14 years and have a degree from the Eastman School of Music in Jazz Guitar. I love creating new and interesting guitar textures, and exploring alternate tunings.

We will discuss your goals in depth and capture the sounds you are looking for on your production.

I use a variety of guitars depending on your projects needs. I have top shelf amps, pedals, microphones, preamps, and plugins to ensure that you are getting the best sound possible for your project. I will work with you until you are 100% happy with the result.

I met Jonathan at Breaking Sound. The best sound I've had in LA yet... he nailed all the dreamy effects and made my voice sound just the way I hear it in my head. I asked what he did since often I've endured mediocre or just bad sound. He sent me a page-long explanation on IG of how to treat MY voice w EQ, FX. Then we had a two-hour session where he broke down how I can easily incorporate a lot of this into my own rig ... so the sound is not left in a stranger's hands. Super professional, friendly, caring, and he knows his shit!!! Def recommend more artists do this.

Jonathan Blake is a master of many genres, spanning from jazz to rock, and from folk to hip-hop. Recently, Blake worked on a very personal song for me, and I would not have trusted any other musician to touch that track. His approach to each project he works on is filled with such passion and dedication.
