Aj is originally from San Francisco and is a professional producer and mixer with over 18 years of experience. He is known for his high-fidelity productions and versatility specializing in pop, urban, and EDM but is comfortable within all genre's. His credits include: Universal, Warner, Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Freeform, Disney, Ford, and many more.
Under his company Activista Music, he works closely with various networks, artists, and labels to create unique forward-thinking songs while keeping a strong pop sensibility. He currently has a high-end studio to make any project sound radio-ready.

-If we are doing a song from scratch I always keep my writing percentage on the production end. But work for hire is available and can be discussed.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on several artist projects, a trailer EP, and my solo artist project.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to always deliver a high-quality product.

A: I always ask for their goals are with the song and what their vision is.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you are providing me with references so I can get an idea of the direction you want to go.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this 18 years. I started by going to college for audio engineering and started building up my experience from there working at several studios in San Francisco and here in Los Angeles.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on a variety of styles but specialize in pop and electronic music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to bring modern production while still keeping the song catchy.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually meet with the client to go over references to see what their direction is. Then I will come up with a track idea and we will schedule a day to do a writing session (unless the song is already written). Then I will do a day to fully record the artist and vocal produce. From there, I make sure the client is happy is happy with the whole song and then I proceed to mix and master it.

A: I have a full studio room with high-quality outboard gear for recording, mixing, and mastering purposes.
