Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started out as an Intern for Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and now I have over 10 years experience producing/mixing/mastering records.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is fluid. IT is always changing.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Kanye West. He is a creative genius.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Keep it simple.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on hip-hop/trap
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is listening.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring direction and vision. I also bring quality, unique taste that is unique to me and no one else can replicate.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to collaborate with the clients and bounce ideas. I have a very strong sense for what works because I have been doing this so long. I also love to share a clients work if it is strong enough I can get to label executives to workout a deal.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am running two studio setups my production setup is my laptop, generic monitors a a ton of software plugins, the usual suspects from Waves, UAD, Izotope, IK Multimedia and many more. I also have a mixing setup in NJ with an SSL console, Tubetech compressors, Neve Pre's and over $20,000 of outboard gear to help get the best quality.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by all things art. I love music from all genres and I am inspired by everyday conversations and things I personally feel have room the be better.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production and Mixing/Mastering. I typically help with the creative vision of the record I am working on as well as marketing/paylist placement if the song is strong enough.
