What's your typical work process?
Let me start by saying there's so many method's to go by depending on what we're planning on achieving. Say the client wants me to write a demo, i'd want to know everything they have in mind for it before i begin, gather up all the details i need.. negotiate the pricing and percentages, have a deadline between the client and i. Half way through i'll send a rough mix of the song to see if they're happy with it or want changes... Then if we're all clear, proceed to mixing.
Tell us about your studio setup.
I work from an iMac, Mbox pro interface. Record and make beats in logic Pro X then transfer to Pro Tools. Mixing i honestly prefer to use Logic and go between the yamaha HS8's and my yamaha headphones. I work with the the Neumann mic TLM102
