Professional Mixing & Mastering, made in Normandy-France. Hybrid studio, the best in digital and analog.
Professional sound engineer, specialized in mixing and mastering. From a Rock and heavy metal culture, I can also work on your Americana, Blues, Pop-Rock, Folk style projects. I have no experience in mixing RNB, dub, rap etc ...
Working in a studio equipped with the best digital and analog equipment, I offer you powerful, warm sound that will meet your expectations.
Each project is tailor-made, in accordance with your request. I can also offer you guitar or bass reamping and drums triggering if necessary, as well as metronomic editing and harmonic accuracy. Of course each project will be precisely defined.
It is essential to remember that I can do a lot but that the main thing lies in your musical interpretation.

Interview with CODA Mixing & Mastering
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my experience and my know-how. The mix will be in line with your expectations. I have been mixing rock for over twenty years.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It all starts with listening precisely to my client. It is essential to know how you want your mix to sound and to know what your references are. Then we listen to what you have sent and we discuss together. Do you want us to work on the quantization, the singer's accuracy, redo the drums or use the triggering? Everything is possible. Once we have defined the result to be achieved, I start mixing. Once this is finished, I send you the result. You give me your impressions and if necessary we refine it according to your tastes. I offer you three revisions. Then I can master the title if you have chosen this service.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is hybrid. That is to say, it combines digital and analog. Digital technology brings the speed of work and the flexibility to explore several avenues. Analogue brings the warmth and roundness that are good for our ears (and our brain). The studio equipment is only top of the range. Focal Shape Twin for monitoring speakers, SSL, Pultec, API, Mackie, and for digital: Apple, Slate, Waves, Arturia, Pulsar Audio, ...
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I really like the sound and the generosity of Pierre Jacquot who worked with David Bowie and Peter Gabriel. I am also a fan of more 90s sounds, like those of Faith no More, RHCP, Green Day, etc ... I also appreciate the work of mastering by Maor Appelbaum.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work is mixing. I can also record solo bands or artists in my studio. I also do the mastering of course. Most of my work is still mixing. I am basically entrusted with Rock or Americana projects. But of course, I like a lot more heavy metal or sometimes country projects.
