Hi Everyone! I'm Jah!
I have a passion for bringing creative visions to life! If you have a voice note or a short recording of a creative idea, I'd love to hear it! For over 15 years, I have produced countless records, of varying genres, starting from small ideas and turning them into Radio-Ready Songs!
As a beat maker, I have made Hip-Hop, Trap, RnB, Reggae, Afro-Beat and EDM beats for different artists and also various musical accompaniment tracks used for promo videos and commercials.
As a Recording/Mix Engineer, I have recorded many artists, of varying genres, in my home studio where I was able to provide a full "Start-To-Finish" production experience. I was able to provide artists with custom made instrumentals that fit their creative goal and also provide the environment to record all the vocals for the song. Working along side artists in this way allows for us to craft the perfect song into whatever we like without the need to having outside influences or having to wait on outside factors.
Working with me is an all encompassing/full creative experience because I aim to provide value and be a One Stop Shop!

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring experience, taste and flavor of other genres to every project I work on. As a multi-instrumentalist, I'm able to draw upon my experiences and knowledge of other musical backgrounds to incorporate in every new song I produce. I look for ways to mix genres together to create a new approach and fresh ideas.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Timbaland inspires me deeply in a musical creative/visionary perspective way while Jon Blass inspires me to be a well rounded and technically sound mix engineer.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do now is focused on creating customs beats for clients and recording/mixing/mastering the vocals for that particular beat. Being able to option full production services from the beginning to the end of each project has been my primarily goal.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: So currently I'm running Windows 10 on a Razer Blade 2018. To craft and create beats, I use Image-Line FL Studios but to record/mix/master vocals, I primarily use Avid Pro Tools. My microphone signal chain starts with my beloved Neumann TLM 102 which is connected to my Dave Hill Designs Europa 1 microphone pre-amplifier then that is connected to my Apollo Twin X DUO. I'm utilizing an On-Stage music production and On-Stage rack cabinet. The On-Stage rack cabinet houses two power conditioners, two rack drawers and my microphone pre-amplifier. On my desk, I use two 24-inch displays connected to my laptop. For speakers, I'm using M-Audio BX 8's and Yamaha HS8S Subwoofer.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Unless I had an idea in my mind prior to sitting down and creating, then I start my creative process as a blank slate. I like to draw from whatever initial emotions I may have in that moment too drive my creativity. My initial thoughts and emotions will then lead me down a path where I'm able to draw from other experiences to create a fluid creative story through FL Studio.
