Hello muscians! My name is Alexey. I am a violinist and my love goes especially to the genres like Gypsy, Balkan, Country, Folk, Arabic and Jewish music.I also love jazz, experimental and electronic music. Currently I play with "Berlin Oriental Group", "Aletchko", "Hubrist", doing music for theater and movies and recording for various artists.
If you decided to bring a sound of violin into your music I'm here to help you with that whether it's a soul touching movie soundtrack or an ass kicking folk-rock song, smooth and jazzy leaks for your R&B track or an oriental improvisation for an ambient and/or chill-out music. Also I write strings arrangements and record violin layers creating a string quartet / string section effect. I am well-versed in Ableton and Cubase and making a high quality editing of the tracks before sending it to you.

Alexey is an outstanding musician! Great communication, fast delivery, and really organised stems and recordings, fully aligned with my instrumental. He was also very helpful in giving me insights on the right techniques and melodic choices for the track, and providing a great idea of his own.

Interview with Alexey Kochetkov
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Actually mostly I perform live, but I have a little studio at home which is just enough to record violin in a great professional quality and for that I am recording solo violin track or imitating a string quartet. Did I mentioned I have a viola and two different violins which make a quartet tracks sound reach and colorful? I also write arrangements for strings and experienced in using violin with many different effects which could fit it nicely into electronic, ambient and experimental music.
