Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I just finished 30 songs for Warner Chappell PM. It's some of my best work and I'm excited for it get distributed.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: As an artist I'm very inspired by Jon Bellion, Billie Eilish, Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Etta James, the list goes on. As a producer I have many musical influences including: Ryan Tedder, The Smeezingtons, Max Martin, Dave Grohl, Rick Rubin.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Pop and hip hop influenced, but versatile

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: As a producer I work a multiple genres but I would say the majority of what I work on is pop

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: Logic Pro X, Slate VMS, Alpha Focal monitors, Universal Audio Apollo, Komplete 12, Wavs, Sound Toys, Slate, Omnisphere, Trilian, Output

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Right now I'm actually working on a side project that falls into the "Trip Hop" genre. It's mainly intended for Film and TV. I am glad to share personal private links to that, but I cannot post it as it is not released yet.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: I recently connected with a producer Ziv (searchable under Ziv Music). He's an extremely talented producer and has a killer voice.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital. I learned everything from inside the box.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I promise I will give 110% to your project and keep communication flowing throughout the process.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I absolutely love creating and collaborating. I love connecting with the vision of the client and hearing things like "ahh, it's like you were in my head! You read my mind!"

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Most common questions are turnaround time and price. Both vary, but my turn around time isn't usually longer than a week.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Not sure actually. I suppose there aren't as many females doing this so that may raise some apprehension in some, but my clients have been really happy with my work to date.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I usually ask them what songs and artists inspired the song they're asking me to work on.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Give artist/song examples if you can. Helps to guide the direction!

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: mic, interface, laptop, acoustic guitar, midi controller

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been playing and writing music my entire life. I've been a professional, making a living off of it, for the past 8 years or so.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with Adele someday. She has so much emotion, she could sing the alphabet and it would probably still bring tears to my eyes.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Pull the worktape into the session, even if it's just a voice memo. It's nice when you can get to it quickly for a reference.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I think my strongest skill is the ability to connect with the client's vision. I'm very intuitive and when I hear the worktapes I can almost immediately hear the intention/direction.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Lots of creativity, a unique approach to instrumentation and production, a rich and authentic vocal. (I can also outsource for a male vocal, or another female if it's better suited for the song)

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I usually start with a map based on the work tape, guiding the song with a guitar or piano & drums till the structure is in tact. Then I adjust according and add proper instrumentation. I also check in with the client regularly to make sure we're on the same page.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: My most common work is taking a rough work tape, whether it just be a voice memo or a guitar vocal, and turning it into a professional demo. I do anything from clean guitar/piano vocal demos to broadcast ready full productions.
