Vocal Production Services

VOCAL COMPING
I will consolidate multiple takes into a single track, ensuring the final result is your best performance.

VOCAL TUNING
I will ensure that your vocals are tuned naturally with Melodyne, one syllable at a time, without any hint that any correction has been applied.

VOCAL TIMING
My sense of timing will ensure that your vocal is exactly where it needs to be, and where you want it to be.

VOCAL CLEANING
Mistakes can happen and the environment you record in may have allowed unwanted sounds and interference into your recording. I will remove all the problems using AI tools, including RX8 Advanced audio correction suite.

VOCAL STACKING
You've created several vocal takes for your big chorus, but you need them to be really tight and timed. I will time align every take to your chosen master take, so they are all super tight

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will provide exactly what you ask for and more at no extra cost.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing the keyboard in bars from the age of 14, although I followed an IT path, founding my own software business at the age of 21. I now also develop plugins for the music production industry as well as producing and specialising in vocal production.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always keep sub 120hz mono using iZotope's Ozone Imager!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I have preference, from EDM to Classical
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I enjoy transforming vocals into a lush production
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring interesting chord progressions, unique and inspiring melody, harmony and overall sonic interest ... in the end, a song is a musical journey, rewarding the listener from start to finish
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I operate in my home attic studio, based around Ableton Live, with Orion 32 sound interface, Presonus fadeport 16, NI Komplete S88 MKII, vast array of keyboards, such as Hammond, Prologue 16, Moog Sub37, Waldorf Quantum, Yamaha Montage plus many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I perform the full range of vocal production services required, but primarily comping, tuning and timing.

A: I was the co-producer of LIFE 2.0, wholly responsible for all vocal production with numerous vocalists
