Hi there! I'm Hugo, and I'm excited to connect with talented artists here on SoundBetter.

My approach is all about capturing the right vibe from the start. I like to get as much insight from the artist as possible—whether it's the sound you have in mind, the artists who inspire you, or the emotions you want to convey. I’ll work closely with you throughout the production or mixing process to ensure your music turns out even better than you imagined.

I enjoy working across a wide range of genres. During my studies, I explored everything from classical composition and orchestration to jazz arrangement, theory, studio work, and production. Since then, I’ve worked on pop, alternative rock, jazz, neo-soul, hip hop, and classical recordings.

A bit about my background: I studied music composition and production in the Netherlands and have created music for festivals, commercials, and art installations for brands like Vogue, Red Bull, Tomorrowland, and Budweiser. I've also arranged and performed with the Metropole Orchestra multiple times.

For almost ten years, I've been working with indie artists on production and mixing, which is my true passion. Feel free to check out my demo reel on the right to hear some of my work.
