I mix and master entirely analog. I have a very clear and simple approach to music, and I am able to engineer your music to stand the test of time, even against your standards!
I mix and master, all analog. I have a warm, clear, great sound that allows the music to breathe and come alive. You will hear every word and detail in your song as you have not before! I hit every detail, each backing bridge vocal, they are all polished, clear, and enjoyable. Your music will be ready for anywhere, and anyone. I am comfortable in and have studied every genre.

Interview with Smoke Signal Productions
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently mixed an album "Fortune Or Death" by Dark Magic Ian. It is a huge album with many songs, and I love every one. They are so new and indescribable. Completely unique music to me. "Fashion" is included in my samples from this album
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I just took time off to fully clean my home and my studio, so I am back to mixing and mastering full time, and am enjoying being a part of the music community.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I think Juan Martinez is on here! A Fantastic mastering engineer in Venezuela I worked with for many years.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog! The life, the physical vibrations, the electricity moving inside the units, it is all very physical and real to me. It is meditative, and healing. I never hear this in plugins. I use Antares Autotune Pro, but otherwise Analog or bust, haha. Analog also has been proven to create the music that stands forever. Journey, Stevie Wonder, Beatles, you name it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will be proud yourself and your music in a way that is bigger than yourself!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love when artists hear their song for the first time.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Most questions are about my analog mixing and mastering process. It is different, and perhaps a bit slower than digital mixing and mastering, but the results are worth it. I can make adjustments to your mix sound, and we can easily make little tiny tweaks in your music, so don't be afraid to ask for specifics! We are in this together.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Mixing does not necessarily correct a bad song! A good song comes from a good song. I will be making a crystal clear, HD version of your recordings. You will be surprised by the difference I can make, but everything is what it is!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always want to hear demos of potential songs we are going to mix! I can hear sparkle in songs that I know will come out amazing after my work. We can pick your favorite songs, and make music that is your foundation.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I always feel a breath of fresh air from a new client. It is so relieving to finally hear your music properly, and not distorted and all tangled up.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook Headphones Interface Guitar Microphone
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been a mixing and mastering engineer since high school. I played Trumpet in college and completed a Music Performance Degree.
