I work in collaberation with our local music school. Therefore I have a lot of very skilled session musicians I can work with when needed. My goal is to make your music sound the best and most compelling as possible. I can add the extra ingredient.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: That's easy.... A song my daughter played and sung. I made the arrangements for strings, bass and total production
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on a huge collaberation project for a musicschool. I wrote a song and all the teachers play a part in it. We want to kick of the new season in a very positive and fun way after the whole coronacrisis. I'm about half way on it and it is also being filmed by a colleague of mine
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I would have to look into that since I'm new here but I 'm very open to recommend someone who has got a great skillset
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Combine the two worlds. Analog is warm sounding and digital gives it a lot of editing and soundscape posibilities

A: I will do my stinking best to make this production sound fantastic. No matter your skill

A: The creative workflow and getting to meet a lot of brilliant people

A: Question...How Much? Answer.... What are you willing to pay for perfection?
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it is just a lot of fun and not actually work. It is a lot of work to make things sound good! But hen it is a lot of fun.

A: Do it! You will not regret it.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A guitar A razor (it helps) Toothbrush (It defenitly helps) A knife A pair of sciccors (Is this gear?)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Pro musician for more then 25 years Recording and producing for about 10 years Writing songs since I was born
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Soulfull, with a touch of mistery and melodically stimulating
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Stevie Wonder.... Because of his great musicianship and sound
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Use your ears but listen to your heart
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Lots of different styles make me tick. I like well written music with a beautiful melody and skillfull playing
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ears, my musical abilities and my songwriting-skills
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A shit load of creativity and knowhow. It is gonna sound it's best!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usualy I start with the basic recording and vibe of the music as a Pilot track Then I build up the rythm-track (real drummer/ samples or combination) Then the bass, then re-record the basic song over the top of that. After that Vocals, Leads, Extra's
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use a relatively small setup of high quality. Great microfoons such as Neumann U87 ai and Rode K2 with a high quality soundcard (RME 800) and a great mixingdesk (Soundcraft Saphire) and a nice warm audio WA73EQ preamp
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am very inspired by Tommy Emanuel, Stevie wonder, Bb king, Pink Floyd and Queen
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I record and produce the songs for my clients. I help them getting the most out of their production by helping them to find the structure and overall vibe the song needs. I can also add some sweet guitartones or bass/ percusion and many more ingredients to spice it up
