Dakoda on SoundBetter

Music enhances the emotion behind everything creative, I can help you realize that vision you have. I will treat your music as if it's my own to have it make an impact on the listeners. I will use EQ, compression, stereo widening, and automation to help enhance your song(s).

My goal has been, and always will be, to make a difference with my music and to help people. I can remotely mix or master your music. I have a lot of experience with hip-hop and trap artists. I will chip away at your song until it is streaming ready and you are happy.

I first approached him with a quite unfinished production, but he was able to turn my track into something else! He is very passionate about his work and very committed to lighting the way to perfection! He has a lot of experience in this field and is extremely talented. Anyone would be lucky to have Dakoda working with them!

Very kind, professional and warm hearted engeneer. Took care of my song in no time. Excellent work, flawless communication. Also, i loved how he displayed every step in the mix& master, so that i could learn from it and get a clear idea of what happened in the working process.

Interview with Dakoda

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: Your vision will be recognized

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: Hopefully helping people. If my music helps you through a breakup or makes your day a little better, anything like that then I've done what I set out to do.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: Acoustic guitar, bongos or something similar, harmonica

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Free. I don't want to create to fit in I just want to create the music that I hear in my head without boundaries.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: Too many to list.

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  12. A: Take breaks to avoid ear fatigue. Honestly.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: As of late just my two music projects Lidocaine Lounge and Crystalskin. I've produced metal music in the past. I have a single that is synthwave which is different from all my other Crystal songs. I have lots of music unreleased too across many genres.

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: A sense of direction when creating. I like my music to have a purpose, to tell a story.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: Emotion I think would be the best word for this.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: Typically shut off all distractions and try to zone in.

  21. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  22. A: David Wise, Chelsea Wolfe, MF Doom (RIP)
