Crystalskin / Lidocaine Lounge on SoundBetter

Let’s face it. Music enhances the emotion behind almost everything creative. Musicians do that with timbre, texture, and tempo. Whether what you’re creating is interactive like a game or background music for a video, I can help you deep dive into exactly what you’re trying to accomplish and then make the sounds rich, compelling, and memorable.

I am the artist and producer behind Crystalskin and Lidocaine Lounge, two music projects that include upwards of thirty individual songs on music platforms such as Spotify, iTunes etc. My goal has been, and always will be, to make a difference with my music. Whether that’s to lift someone’s spirits, enhance the exhilaration of a video game, or provide the perfect backdrop to the visual elements of a video. I can write music for your songs/video games/movies or any other medium. I can remotely mix or master your music. I am also available for features!

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

I had a great opportunity to work with Dakota! He’s friendly and provided me clear direction for what he needs. I would recommend him to anyone! He creates cool music:)

  2. A: Your vision will be recognized

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: Hopefully helping people. If my music helps you through a breakup or makes your day a little better, anything like that then I've done what I set out to do.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: Acoustic guitar, bongos or something similar, harmonica

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Free. I don't want to create to fit in I just want to create the music that I hear in my head without boundaries.

  10. A: Too many to list.

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: A sense of direction when creating. I like my music to have a purpose, to tell a story.

  18. A: Emotion I think would be the best word for this.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  21. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  22. A: David Wise, Chelsea Wolfe, MF Doom (RIP)
