It's about time Joel! It's only been how many years since you had some new material??

Joel contacted me about helping finish off a song that's been crying out to be finished for a long time, so of course I was happy to help! Rumor has it that the band may be working on some new material, so If they ask you to help out on a song definitely do it. Joel & I go way back! We just finished a song we originally mixed about a decade ago at Sunset Sound. He revisited it and made it better, and I was fortunate to get the call to help finish it off! When you work on music with Joel you always end up in a place where you're proud of the result and happy to have been involved with the project. If Joel comes knocking, answer the door. This song that I worked on for Joel was a great song that stood on its own two feet, and it was essentially just him and a guitar in his living room. It arrived with its own characteristic sound, that was just oozing vibe - it's really hard to accomplish that with just one person in their living room singing with a guitar. The song, the performance, and the tone of the recording combined to create something special, and I'm very thankful he let me put the last little .01% on it!
