Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: There is such a charm to analog. It is tactile, it is time-honored and a monumental part of our musical tapestry with legendary artists all bringing their music to the world using analog. However, the reliability, consistency and ease of use of digital is extremely attractive. You can have a full studio of plugins on a laptop that you can carry with you. You can make totally professional sounding songs with just software, which is why digital takes the slight edge in my particular area. - LOHA
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to use try my very best, and use my skills to the highest level possible to achieve your goals, and further your projects, and give you the very best I can. I promise to be reliable, responsive and easy to work with. - LOHA
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to help people express themselves, and release music that they are proud of is extremely rewarding. Seeing people get excited about their art and their work is something I truly enjoy. - LOHA

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you find the provider that suits your needs. Have a clear vision of what you want and expect and find the provider for you, giving them as much detail as you can so that they can best cater for your specific needs. - LOHA
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My guitar! I cannot be without this for even a day. I'd also take a Kemper Profiler, a MacBook with all my software/plugins, a SM57 and a MIDI keyboard.

A: As a producer, I try to be able to fit the given project as best I can. When I am producing music for myself, it is quite electronic and dark, making use of unconventional samples and foley sound. - LOHA

A: I would absolutely love to work with Deftones. They continue to explore their sound, putting out intriguing and heart-wrenching records after so many years. I'd also like to work with John Mayer, I believe he is the ultimate combination of musicality, virtuosity and star power. - LOHA

A: One of the things that helped me the most when I began, was learning to properly label and color-coordinate tracks, to increase workflow and reduce downtime. - LOHA

A: I work on a lot of music! Recently, I've been working with EDM and Metal artists. - LOHA

A: My strongest skills are that I am reliable and easy to communicate with, working tirelessly to meet the client's needs. - LOHA

A: The most important thing to me is that the client is happy. So the first thing I do is setup a meeting with the client, get to know them and their project and outline where they want to take it and the deliverables that they need. I then get to work, whilst keeping them in the loop during the process, providing any revisions required before final submission. - LOHA
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My current studio set-up is based around Ableton Live 11 and Pro-Tools. I use the DAW that best suits the clients needs. I also use a range of plugins from companies such as iZotope, Neural DSP, Xfer Records and Native Instruments among many more. - LOHA
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: So many! Steve Duda is a big influence as he is extremely hard-working and his productions sound fantastic. He isn't reliant on any one piece of tech and can provide a professional mix-down with very little. Terry Date is an inspiration as he has been so relevant and a part of important records for such a long time. Another example is Andy Sneap, who again has been able to stay relevant and continue improving. I'm also really inspired by Kshmr, because of his unique approach to incorporating interesting elements and constantly reinventing himself, while his quality of output remains top-tier. - LOHA
