I am a Cum Laude-award-winning composer and audio engineer who doesn't just record your sound—I sculpt it into a "sonic monolith," fusing the raw authenticity of your performance with the uncompromising precision of high-end electronic architecture.
"Do Not Fix It In The Mix. Get It Right At The Source."
Welcome. I am Philemon Mukarno, a composer, producer, and audio engineer based in Rotterdam. My philosophy is simple but radical: I believe in the "Economy of Means." I don't believe in burying a track under endless plugins or artificial polish. I believe in capturing the visceral, trembling truth of the music as it happens, and then elevating it into something undeniable.
Who Am I?
I am a sonic architect with a foot in two worlds. Born in Jakarta and trained at the elite Royal Conservatory of The Hague and Codarts University of the Arts, I graduated Cum Laude with the Prize for Composition. I have spent decades bridging the gap between:
The Ancient: The resonant, complex textures of Indonesian Gamelan and acoustic instrumentation.
The Future: The cold, pristine power of modern electronic sound design.
What I Can Do For You
