I've been recording music since I built a vocal booth in the corner of my basement in high school and have since earned degrees in Jazz Studies and Music Theory. My work involves producing Guitar and Bass for bands like Wisteria and City Playgrounds and I frequently work with rap artists and producers hoping to bring a live 'bounce' to their mixes.
I can offer guitar work in Jazz, Nylon/Classical, Acoustic Singer/Songwriter, Funk, Reggae, Neosoul and Hard Rock styles. I can craft a musically economical solo that ties together your verses and launches you into a chorus or I can provide a syrupy smooth adlib to compliment a verse. I can glue your mix with clean, rhythmic acoustic guitar or anchor a rock tune with driving crunch.
For bass sessions I can write smooth complimentary lines evoking John Patitucci or Pino Palladino or create a funky, bouncy movement like Dua Lipa or Anderson Paak. I've been writing basslines for years and know exactly where a bass should sit in order to compliment the harmonic and melodic content of your song.
