Born in the digital age I produce and mix records to make them sound modern, competitive and emotionally compelling. It is crucial to me to understand the soul/essence of the music im working on to take it where it should finally be. Whatever I get on my hands I will return sounding better, always.
Santiago Mejía is an Audio Engineer and Producer from Bogotá, Colombia. Owner of Estudio Oscilador, Santiago has worked with relevant artists from around the globe. Specializing in indie, world and electronic sounds, his approach to music always intends to enhance meaning behind songs. His approach is both methodic and creative with a very committed and professional work ethic.
I offer mixing services, assuring that my decisions will always serve the song. As well I follow a method that I have created based on the study of influential engineers, Tom Elmhirst, Silvya Massi and Susan Rogers amongst others. When Mixing I will always try to understand your vision and enhance it with my knowledge of technologic technics, music and audio principles.
I also offer production services. When walking on this terrain, the first step will be discussing the objectives behind a production and finding strategies that allow the client to achieve what they are looking for. Always looking to create recordings that enhance the narrative behind songs. Esthetically I specialize in achieving seaming-less integration of electronic and modern sound design with organic instrumental formats.
Santiago graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2018. There, he earned laureated degrees on Music Production & Engineering and Contemporary Writing and Production.

Endorse Santiago Mejía B.When it comes to writing a song it is mainly a personal and intimate process to me. But, when recording, teamwork is what drives me. Being able to produce my songs with Santiago -from a distance, without even knowing each other in person-has been a dream. I’ve found a sensible, experimental, creative and welcoming human. Through each stage, there’s as much enthusiasm as when the song is finished.
