
Hey there! My name is Franco Martino, I'm a session guitarist (Electric, acoustic and classic) as well I also play Mandolin, Banjo, Lap-Steel and electric Bass professionally. I have my own studio in Buenos Aires, Arg. I'm a performer musician, I play in various bands, one of them is Che Apalache, GRAMMY2020 nominated band for best folk album.
As you read before I'm a multi-instrumentalist. I do sessions of Guitars, Mandolins, Banjos, Lap Steels and Electric Bass.
I have a wide variety of options for a Guitar session like Gibson 335, Stratocasters, Acoustic or Classic Guitar.
I play different types of music like Rock, Pop, Soul, Funk, R&B, Folk, Latin Music, Argentinian Folk Music, Jazz-Fusion, Bluegrass, Country-Music, Reggae, Blues, WorldMusic, Acoustic Music.
From the tree of guitar I also play Slides Guitars and Lap-Steels.
Also If you prefer a warm wood acoustic sound I play Banjo, Mandolin, and Acoustic or Classic Guitars.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen, don't rush it, enjoy playing!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I take 2 or 3 listenings to the song, I hear the references if I have some, and then I start trying things with my instrument. When I find something good, I record it and start making the arrangement. When I finish the recording I edit it and send it as neat as possible and wait for the response.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work with a FocusRite Scarlett 18i8, AKG170 (2), AT2020, shures 57, shure 58, MacBookPro, LogicProX, Waves.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I have worked with so many diverse artist. I try to give them what they ask for and something that also excites me. Clear and consistent ideas. I often do string arrangements, rhythm, harmony, melodies, soloing, etc. I do complet arrangements of guitars and also with the other instruments I play.
