I am a mixing and mastering engineer based in India. I specialize in remote mixing and mastering, as well as production for all genres from Indie, pop, hip hop to rock and metal.

Have Mixed and Mastered for few top 10 emerging Indie artists in India, and have got featured in Spotify Editorial playlists and other play lists across several other platforms.

I specialize in Mixing & Mastering as both one process or separate processes and I mainly work completely IN THE BOX.
I've been studying and developing my craft since 2016 and I have studied and worked under country's top producer and mix engineer.
My main strengths are with the styles of Indie,Rock, Pop , Metal, Bollywood.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I'm lucky enough to work with Ashu Shukla's and Vismay Patel's singles both of them are upcoming top indie names in India and I love mixing and mastering their tracks.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Working on one of the top upcoming indie artist's project.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not now yet!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital.. because there's hardly any difference left.. but if I have the luxury of having analog gears then.. I'll definitely buy a curve bender and a.germanium compressor.!

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: My promise to my clients are to bring the best out of their songs.. and give something which will make both of us feel happy about.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I like the fact that I'm doing what I love to do the most and everyday and every project is a different thing..and I have to come with new ideas of nailing it everyday.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: It's mainly about budget and I do my best to get into a win win situation.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People often think that mixing will make a badly produced track sound like a multi platinum award winning song!

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: Objectives, budget and what new stuff are they planning to do in upcoming projects

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: I expect them to communicate well about the project and what exactly are they wanting it to sound like.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: MacBook Pro, audeze headphones and Apollo twin.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started off in 2016 before that I was doing live sound which was mostly self taught..I have worked with so many renowned artists for their live shows, then in 2018 I went under some serious training under Vivek Thomas one of the top notch producer and mixer in India. And since then I've never turned back ! It is so amazing to do things what you love the most!

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I don't like reinvent the wheel , but if asked I might do so 😉

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I would like to work with Dhruv Viswanath because he's an amazing song writer and guitarist from india.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Do not hesitate to experiment see what you can achieve by going the complete opposite of what you have learnt

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Indie pop, singer songwriter and bollywood, rock and Indian music

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: my forte is mixing and mastering.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I'm a big fan of clarity and emotions! I work around to bring the details and nuances of the song let it be a small amount but for me the vibe and emotion that adds to the song means a lot.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: As I mentioned I'm completely in the box guy! I have my few fav mixing templates that is crafted for my all round work preferences.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I've a very simple and easy to work with kinda setup I'm completely working in the box I have an iMac rig with Logic Pro loaded with tons of plugins and my trusty speakers!

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I'm greatly inspired by Manny , Michael Braurer, CLA , and Elliott Schiener , Tom Misch , Jacob Collier and others.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I mix and master the songs and sometimes I produce and record songs if the clients are front the local surroundings.
