Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both. They both bring things to the table that can't be achieved by the other.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: I'd take my laptop, my prophet 5, Telfunken 251, Apollo and a neve 1073. :)

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been doing this for over a decade now. I studied Music Production & Engineering with a minor in Commercial Record Production at Berklee College of Music. After that I moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in audio. I was fortunate enough to be able to intern for a Grammy award winning production group called "1500 or nothin" where I had the opportunity to work with many amazing artists, and that led to where I am today.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I usually work with a lot Latin Artists. R&B, Trap, Reggaeton, Pop, & More.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I love Drums, Bass and Vocals, and, on a song mixed by me you can expect these elements to be very present.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: What I bring to a song is that emotional connection that the listener is looking for, with a sonic taste that allows them to go on their own journey of enjoyment without distraction as they listen.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Before I even start mixing, I usually like listening to the demo 3-5 times just to get a feel for the song. Then I love having conversations with artist and/or producer to further understand their vision. Once I understand the vibe of the song, and I have a clear vision as to where to take it, is when I finally start mixing.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I'm inspired by all styles of music, and I like to considerer myself a forever student of this craft. For that reason I'm constantly listening to new albums, to keep myself updated, and to draw inspiration for my next project. I'm very inspired by the works of Pharrell Williams, TIMBALAND, Rodney Jerkins, Jon Bellion, Ty Dolla Sign, Kanye West, Manny Marroquin, Jaycen Joshua, Josh gudwin, & More.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: My clients usually bring me in at the final stages of the record making process to ensure that the quality of the music and the sonics are up to standard. My clients trust me to deliver the highest quality product posible.
