Hello: My name is John Siket. I've been recording, mixing and producing music for over 29 years. I bet that you've already heard my work!
I am available for hire to mix, record, produce, and/or co-produce. My studio is well-equipped, but I also travel. I recorded and mixed a Grammy-nominated track in 1999 ("First Tube" by Phish). I have several gold and platinum record awards: Dave Matthews Band "Crash" (7x platinum), Vertical Horizon "Everything You Want" (2x platinum), M2M "Shades of Purple" (5x platinum), You Am I "Hi Fi Way" (Australian gold), Phish "Billy Breathes" (gold), and Soul Asylum "Let Your Dim Light Shine" (platinum). Also, I have a very talented apprentice that programs drums, synths and sings! Now featuring electric bass overdubbing by my ace session rock bass-player, Jim Dillman!! He's played bass for over 35 years and done literally 1000's of gigs in the New York City area.

John was extremely patient and understanding while working on my mix. He was able to deliver a dynamic mix with creative energy. I am very happy to have worked with John. He is an awesome engineer!
John Siket is a living Legend. I really love the job that he did on my EP.
He helped me to shape the sound of my tracks in a very special way and I'm very very happy with the results. If you want someone with a lot experience, but fresh and updated at the same time this is the guy you should hire.
Thank you John.
I had a great experience working with John Siket! He Produced my ballad "Picture Of You" for my band Jenevieve Cruz and the Submissives. He made is sound more beautiful then I could have imagined. Not only is he experienced, he is a great guy to work with in the studio!
No doubt a gifted engineer as his discography shows, I look forward to John's enthusiasm and presence in the recording and mixing environment in every session. His ability to make artists comfortable, his attention to detail, and his humor combined with his love of creating great tracks is infectious! Bravo, John!

Interview with John Siket
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started out as an intern at Bearsville Studios in the summer of 1986. What a great place!! It was located on 100 acres of fields and forests in upstate New York--right outside of Woodstock. I then went to Water Music Recorders in Hoboken, NJ. There, I really learned how to engineer records. I worked with a lot of great artists thru the 28 years of doing this professionally. I really owe them a debt of gratitude. Thank-you.
