I’m a freelance drummer based in Sussex, UK, with fifteen years of experience in numerous drum styles, live performances and sessions. I have had the privilege to study with many fantastic musicians including Ralph Rolle (Chic), Craig Blundell (Steven Wilson) and Steve White (Paul Weller) and Virgil Donati. Whilst also studying under UK drummer Pat Garvey, since 2012. Having played festivals across the UK & Europe, as well as performing for BBC showcases.

Aside from working on original material, as a working musician I fill part of my time teaching privately and playing in cover bands/tribute acts which takes me all across the UK performing at weddings and parties.

My repertoire also includes electric kits and programming samples. Electronics have given me the ability to be creative beyond the drum set and even record entire albums from my own home. Genres and shows that demand ever changing sounds (pop, drum&bass, progressive rock) can be played and replicated with ease. I also use triggers within acoustic drums, layering both original drum sounds and electronic samples. Having my own equipment to record both acoustic and electric kits means I can remote-record high quality drum parts to be sent to an artist/band.

Being creative and teaching is where I’m most happy. I love the process of learning, helping others and being able to push myself at the same time.
