I am a song writer, I start with acoustic guitar, developing a tune, rhythm, groove, etc. Then I search out what the feeling of the music is; start a freestyle writing exercise to get the lyrics going. I'm 52 years old and I write from experience and the life I've lead. Once I get the rhythm guitar down and lyrics written, I find collaborators.
