Versatile electronic music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, and sound designer with an open mind
"Captivating environments, masterful melodic structures, and mind-blowing sound design, RUSTHOL is an artist you absolutely need to know and keep an eye on. Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, this artist’s compositions know no boundaries within the sonic spectrum. The way he whisks his colorful paintbrush of tones really shines on a whole new level. The sinister, dark, and ear-pleasing spaces within his works will instantly take over your mind and soul. Everything he touches turns to absolute gold. It’s artists like him that make you feel grateful to be alive during his artistic journey. From Drum & Bass, UK Garage, Wave, and more, he’s taking on every part of the electronic spectrum, and gifting it with his unique and wonderful presence.
Future Garage genre is simply breathtaking. Chilling you to the core. The captivating ambiance flowing through this adventure will make your essence shiver with glee as each element is carefully placed in this ominous space he’s conjured up. Impactful drums, dreamy tones, and hypnotic vocals are only a few elements that make this track out of this world. You’ll also come across some nasty and mean bass movements to fill your cravings."

Interview with RUSTHOL
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm equipped with a raised-and-angled-down monitor solution featuring KRK's Rokit 5 Classics. These are powered by a KRK S8G4 subwoofer, which is routed to a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. The audio interface is also linked with a Rode NT1-A studio microphone and Audio Technica ATH-M50x studio headphones. I use an AKAI MPK Mini MK3 keyboard for extra flexibility for quick MIDI inputs. In addition, I also use a Yamaha Piaggero NP-32 keyboard for fuller and more traditional compositions
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm most inspired by the atmospheric soundscapes of 2 8 1 4, Aphex Twin, Burial, JOYRYDE, and Willix.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My most common types of work are mixing, mastering, and sound design.
