Back in action - I'm a story-teller, here to transform your ideas into the perfect song! My credits include multi-million streamed songs with artists from all over the world, with labels such as Sony, Universal, and Capitol.
I specialise in pop lyrics and indie/ alternative toplines + lyrics, though I can work in a variety of genres and have a lot of experience adapting to different styles. I am always flexible in my approach to working on a project and will be happy to chat before we begin.
I work closely with the artist to make sure YOUR vision is fulfilled in the song!
I often receive briefs in the form of a story, an image or a detailed break-down of what each section should communicate, though I can also help to find the concept or work off-brief to create something I think will fit the artist and music best! I can also work with local producers if you are looking for a ready-to-go instrumental, or fully mastered song with vocals.
Delivery depends on the project and how many projects I am currently booked on but here are some guidelines:
Lyrics only - less than a week + up to 2 revisions
Lyrics and toppling with guide vocal - up to a week with 2-3 revisions
Full song from scratch, no production - up to a week with 2-3 revisions
Full song with production + mix - I will check in at various points to make sure we are on track with the vision.

I worked with Ginni on an experimental piece that we conceived as a collaborative project - re-working a specific piece by Henry Purcell that would become an audio-visual one-off piece. Striding across several disciplines, Ginni has worked with me comprehensively on the basis of being an actress, musician, recording engineer, film production assistant and (most notably) a singer of considerable talent and versatility.

Interview with Ginni Luckit
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been helping artists write their visions for the last 7 years - I began as an assistant to French artists writing in English, then began writing for them from scratch, then began my own career as a singer-songwriter with a solo project. I have worked in all sorts of settings, from home studios, to world-famous studios, to international zoom writing sessions!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio with a Rode NT1A microphone for recording acoustic tracks. If final vocals are needed, then I work with a sound engineer / producer to record and mix.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I listen to a whole range of music, currently my favourite artists, and inspirations, are Hozier and Sleep Token. Two very different styles, but I love the pushing of genre boundaries, and the poetry of their lyrics.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I most often get requests to write a song for a client who wants something that fits their style and vision so that they can go on to record and release the track. I take reference tracks and a story line that the client wants to convey, and then I write and record an acoustic track for them to review! I can then extend the project (if desired) and take it to one of the producers I work with in order to produce the instrumental track, ready to record over! I also specialise in writing lyrics over existing toplines.

I launched my solo artist project this year, with a first song on Spotify and another planned for release very soon! I have been busy writing and recording in the magical Wisseloord Studios in the Netherlands, and continue to collect collaborations on other projects. Recently I've collaborated with Louis Delort, Florent Mothe and Alessandro Valderrama!
