I perform accordion about 28 years, it is my profession, my hobby and even my all. My main job, for 17 years, is as an artist in the Concertino Accordion band (Moldova). Together with my colleagues we would win 21 first prizes and Grand prizes in competitions all over the world.

I have always been very passionate about music from a very young age and I had always dreamt of making it my profession. Amazed by great musicians I wanted to be one of them thus I set myself on the music path. To be a great musician requires expertise therefore from a very raw age I strived to bring forward the best of what the musically world has to offer, and my music academics did enlighten my path. My instrument is the Accordion - “Life Instrument” has been my friend and guide as a child and keep discovering new facets of it everyday. Recently I enjoyed playing a new instrument named Melodica - “My Soul Instrument” which always brings forward a plethora of unique emotions which allow me to relive moments. My devotion and passion for music and constant labour have blessed me with various achievements so far in my career as a musician but the future is yet to bring more opportunities and music.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I created a solo project, I participated in ethno festivals, concerts ... I recorded personal music.

A: Recording jazz accordion project

A: Both. Each of it have plus and minus.

A: To be creative, free musician.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I play accordion from 8 years old. Each day. Today I'm 36 years old. A lot of studies and rehearsals.. For 17 years ago we (with my collegues) start to create good music in CONCERTINO Accordion Band.

A: Here's a lot of good musicians. I would like to work with good and positive people/musicans.

A: Listen more good music!

A: Jazz, Classic, Pop.

A: Most of my customers says that I have special feeling of the music. :)
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Soul.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually I receive an order from the customer. I listen to the track-example that the client sends. Then I compose an accordion score and record it. After that I send file/s to the customer.

A: 2 accordions: Victoria (with internal microphone set Sennheiser) / Weltmeister Supita with external Sennheiser Mic Wireless Set. Studio Condenser Microphones AKG C2000, MXL 991 Focusrite 6i6, 2nd generation.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Richard Galliano - the most famous accordionist in the world. I had a few chances to play toghether with him in Moldova and France witn Concertino Accordion Band (my basic work)
