Dugo, a.k.a. Takahiro Izutani, is a Tokyo-based electronic music producer, guitarist, which is the experiment on how to combine the sound of rock guitar influenced by flamenco with modern electronic sound in an organic form. He also has a career and a great deal of experience working worldwide as a video game composer.

He has played the guitar in a prog rock band called Happy Family in the late 90s. He worked on two albums, which were released by Cuneiform Records in the US. After the band broke up, he has worked on a number of productions for major artists in Japanese music industry, starting Dugo around this time.

The track 'Dublin' was picked up to be used for CSI: Miami 3 in 2006. As a result, he became involved in music production for the media. He got the opportunities to be involved in video game project like Metal Gear Solid series, Bayonetta series, and he became known as a video game composer.

Although working as a successful composer, he has devoted his resources to working as an artist again. He had restarted Happy Family, then released the 3rd album in 2014. Then finally he released Dugo’s 1st album 'Lingua Franca in 2017.

After the releasing of ‘Recluse’ EP on October 2020, Dugo has been releasing his work constantly.
