Everybody could produce, but not everyone can tell a story with their productions. Having good lyrics or instrumental melodies is not enough if you don’t know how to create expressivity, storytelling and feelings. Making good music is not just how your song sounds, but it’s mostly how you make people feel while they are listening to it.

With a unique approach that blends cinematic and orchestral elements with enveloping electronic melodies, I create compositions that tell unforgettable stories and evoke powerful feelings.

My ability to mix and master tracks with an outstanding quality ensures that every note resonates with clarity and intensity, elevating your project to new levels of excellence.
Turn to me for a service that not only enhances the quality and uniqueness of your sound but also adds a touch of mystery and rare emotional depth. Each of my productions is a music journey that captivates and engages, designed to create lasting impressions for your audience.

Interview with Xanthic
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I’m so proud of my releases "Shadow," "Goodbye" and "Oblivion," which are available on Spotify and all digital stores. Each of these productions has a story behind it, and I worked hard to bring them to life. This is exactly what I mean when I say that my works are music journey and not just something to listen to.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on my personal project. I’m an artist as well as a composer, and I’m going to release new music soon.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask them to give me every detail about the work they need. If they already have instrument or vocal tracks to send me that want to use, or particular preferences about bpm, project key and time signature. Most important, I ask them to send me a reference track to better understand the result they’re looking for in terms of arrangement, mix and master.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Best quality works come from the clearest goals and ideas. If you don’t know what you’re telling with your music, people will notice that. It’s like driving without knowing where you’re going. My job is to be the car: I can light the road to make passengers see every details and the view, but you’re still the driver. First, try to figure out who you are and what you want to communicate to your audience, then I promise you we will make them a beautiful trip.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Inspiration comes from external impulses. If you have no idea how to begin, simply start listening to songs that sound close to the result you’re trying to achieve. This way you will have a clear path to follow in order to initiate your production.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I don't have a standard genre. I have my own unique style of making music, and I work on everything that needs to be transformed from an empty, soulless song into a powerful storytelling production.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I've been playing the piano since I was 7, and I started composing at 10. For this reason writing melodies and arrangements are my best skills ever.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my feelings and my storytelling skills before my professional experience. Without emotions, there would be only empty songs. Then I bring innovation and an incredible quality.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It depends, sometimes I start with chords, other times with melodies or grooves. First of all, I try to identify myself in the story I’m going to tell with my production by helping me with videos, other songs or images. In my opinion there’s no a "standard method" to make a song. We are human, not robot. Inspiration and imagination are the key, and this is the only way I follow for my work process.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My gear is iMac Pro, KRK Rokit RP5 G3, Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6, Novation Impulse 25, Yamaha P-115 W, Yamaha b1 SG2 and RODE NT1-A. I’m a Logic Pro X user and I love this daw.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Since I was young Hans Zimmer inspired me for his powerful music storytelling. He was the mentor for my professional growth.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I create personalized experiences around my clients' needs. It’s not just “making songs”, it’s a real journey from start o finish. Together we create stories for people to listen.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes, of course. His name is Xanthic, I highly recommend him.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, is more versatile and is the future of music.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to amaze them. I will do my best to turn their ideas into a piece of music of an outstanding quality.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like that every time someone asks me for a production, it's a new challenge. I try to create something tailored to my clients' needs, and this always squeezes my imagination and creativity. I bring a part of me in every single piece of music I make. This is exactly what people feel when I send them my work. It’s not just a production, it’s a personalized story composition.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: They ask me if there is a way to turn their rough ideas into something that can really work. People are always fond of their ideas, and my job is to do my best to make them work in today's standards without drastically change them.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That everyone can do this job just putting some loops found on internet or with AI nowadays. Making music is a mental process, it needs an incredible expertise to make productions sound authentic and professional. Composition requires years and years of studying, continue improvement and expensive gears. People aren’t just paying for some chords, they’re paying for years of experience, innovative ideas, sound treatment knowledge and everything around it that is required to be a real music producer and composer. Making music is not easy, it’s never been.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Probably just my piano.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing piano since I was 7. At 10 years old I composed my first piano song, and since then I’ve spent my life studying harmony and composition. I approached to production world at the age of 12, and I've never stop improving myself experimenting and looking for my sound identity. This took me entire years when I finally found my path. I studied at the best music production school in Milan when I was 20 and from that moment I finally figured out what I wanted to do: telling stories with my music. Now I’ve been doing this for more than 10 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is unique from anyone else. I merge orchestral and cinematic elements with futuristic and electronic melodies. My works are real outstanding compositions with powerful chord progressions and arrangements.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I have no particular preferences. I would like to work with anyone who has a clear vision of their goals and is motivated to bring out the best from my collaboration.
