I am a player of all types of music. Improviser in any genre. Flexible and intuitive.

A violinist of over 20 years with a Bachelors and Masters in Music, the violin feels like an extension of me.
I have been a studio musician in the past playing on Grammy Winning and Nominated albums (John Legend, PJ Morton, Ledisi, Jessie J, Chronixx), so yes, I am available for session work.
I also compose/improvise unique string parts for other artists. My composition process happens through a meditative state where I free-flow. I usually listen to the track once without playing, and then I pick up the violin and improvise in a very sensitive way; directly responding in every moment to the unique ebbs and flows of the music. My distinct vibe as a player is more on the spectrum of sweet/sensual, but for session work I can play any style.
My sound is very intimate, romantic and nurturing; it has set me apart from other string players my whole life.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing the violin for over 20 years and I am a classically trained violinist with a Bachelors and Masters in music. I have also performed with many world-class artists, and am a studio musician, playing with the Matt Jones Orchestra for 3 years in Chicago. I have been recording and composing my own string parts for 2 years.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Sweetness, intimacy, romance, and heart-activating sound.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I compose and record custom string parts; anywhere from a solo violin line, to an 8 part orchestral sound, depending on what the client is looking for. I also record pre-written charts when the client knows exactly what they want.
