Designed and created in 1989 by original owner, Clay Sheff, In 2001 Smash moved to it's current location and constructed a 10,000 square foot state of the art facility in the center of Manhattan.

Presently, Smash Studios is one of the most unique production facility in NYC, offering Audio Recording, Showcase Stages, Rehearsal Studios, Film & TV Production/Editing, for professional entertainers, record labels, TV and Film, and aspiring artists. Featured on numerous TV shows including MTV’S “Making the Band”, Voted “Best Studio in New York” by the Village Voice, named “Best of the East” by Mix Magazine and with hundreds of noteworthy clients, Smash secured its position as one of New York City’s top music studios. Smash has built it's stellar reputation on professionalism, solid corporate structure, honored relationships with world renowned manufacturers as endorsee (e.g..
