I'm a producer and mixing engineer based in Berlin with own active band. I founded and ran a successful label. Due to working on both sides of the music industry, I have learned to analyze projects or songs and detect what's best for the them and what might be getting in the way, in order to obtain better end results. I call it, "creative mixing".
What I offer, is what I do best: remote mixing of singles, complete albums or projects. My process is very simple and fundamental for a good result. First, I like to understand what the song/project is trying to say and what the concept behind it is, in order to define the sonic character. It's a matter of detecting the hooks and strengths and putting them at front, and dealing especially, honestly and very objectively if there are any; with the elements that don't work very well or not at all with the song/sound. It's about using the strong and decide together whether to redo, fix or maybe even remove the weaker elements to end up with a fully rounded and great sound. Creative mixing is working with the artist or producer during the mixing process emerging creatively into the project.
