Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That vocal editing is something which all engineers can do. This is a huge misconception, as it goes far beyond the realm of technical knowledge and much further into the area of musical performance and delivery.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Arthur Indrikovs - he's a great mix engineer.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in various studios when it comes to tracking. For editing I have my own setup which includes all the relevant software and some serious CPU to handle all the processing I need.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Modern music production is something I find incredibly inspirational. The standard keeps getting higher, which is something I really enjoy.
