Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: honestly, don't be afraid of staying IN the box. everyone idolizes creative/out of the box solutions and it can make you feel inadequate when you stay in the box. sometimes out of the box sounds bad.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Hospitality, I want to give the client the feeling of working with a friend and not just someone polishing their track. I want them to feel I'm at least invested in what they let me work on for them.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Character, I'm a versatile producer but not a transparent producer. Most of my peers and clients can tell when a track was done by me, and I like it that way.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually try and get to know the client as much as possible to get a lay of the land before I even put my hands on their music. I want to be personable and have strong communication first and earn some trust before band to help things go smooth.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a treated room with a hybrid production setup. I like to record a lot to tape and track hardware synths. I do a lot of guitar work so I have a wide variety of amps, pedals, guitars, mics and pre's to get some versitle tones
