Nashville based Guitarist and Producer specializing in singer-songwriter and Indie-pop projects, as well as many other genres. I love working with artists to bring their visions to life in unique and exciting ways that is true to their personality as an artist. Let's work together!
Hey there! My name is Parker Beasley, your go-to session guitarist and producer ready to bring your musical visions to life. With years of experience both in the studio and on stage, I specialize in creating unforgettable melodies, captivating harmonies, and dynamic rhythms that elevate any project.
As a session guitarist, I specialize in creating unique ear catching parts, and adapting my playing to serve the song in the best possible way. I love using the guitar to add character and energy to a track, whether that is soulful Mayer type licks or rhythmic pop based elements that glue a song together.
As a producer I am quick to take a simple song idea and turn it into a fully produced song that goes beyond a typical demo. My goal is to bring the artist's vision to life quickly and keep the process enjoyable for all involved.

Interview with Parker Beasley
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am especially proud of my work on apt 114 by Caitie Hurst for a few reasons. 1. Caitie is my wife so it is super cool to create music with my best friend. 2. It is the first track that I was able to co-produce with my friend Carson. It turned out so awesome and the process made it even more special. 3. I get to play it live with my wife and it is so much more fun to play a song live that you had a part in creating.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on producing a full length indie-pop album with and artist and I am stoked about it!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes! My good friends Jason Early, Caleb Crino, and Carson Ives are all amazing producers and musicians. I have worked with each one of them personally and could not recommend working with them enough.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! I think analog is always going to have a vibe to it that digital gear has a hard time replicating. It can be so influential when creating. However, the digital stuff just objectively sounds great and is so much more cost effective and accessible. I cannot in good conscience pick one over the other.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are your influences? What is the story behind the song? What is your vision for the sound of the song?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take my Fender Strat and a massive Marshall Amplifier. That way I can get passing ships attention and no longer be stranded.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been playing music since I was 10 years old, since then I have worked in almost every aspect of the music industry possible. From playing live and in the studio, to tour managing arena level tours I have found that I simply love music and want to be around it as much as possible.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A mix of pop, blues, surf rock, and indie-rock.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work on indie-pop music but love anything that feels genuine and from the heart.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I love to put the artist's vision first, rather than force a song to sound how I would want it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am currently working out of my home studio in West Nashville. My gear includes Ableton Live 11, Logic Pro X, numerous Universal Audio plugins, KRK Rokit 5 Studio Monitors, Gibson L-00 Acoustic Guitar, Fender 2017 Eric Johnson Stratocaster, Original 1968 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amplifier, numerous effects pedals, Universal Audio Apollo, Shure SM7b microphone, and much more!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am currently super inspired by artists such as Dayglow, Colony House, Jon Foreman, Jordy Searcy, and as always John Mayer. I grew up listening to artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and and Eric Clapton, but have developed a deep love for pop music that is full of the energy and soul that the artists of the past with a modern approach.
