Hi, my name is Vicky! I'm a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and I want to help you make an amazing record. Together, we can bring your music to the next level. Let's make something great!
I have been a music lover for as long as I can remember and I've been playing acoustic guitar since I was 10. Besides playing guitar as my main instrument, I also play piano, ukulele and violin. I can make beats, programmed drums, and remix songs.
Music is my passion. I will do all I can to make sure you get exactly what you want for your song.
Making music, with love
Vicky

Interview with Vicky S
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I recommend Tyler Spratt for mixing and mastering service. Dan Konopka for live drum tracks. William D. Lucey for songwriting. They are very professional.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: They are great but I don't use any analog gear. I only use digital mixing and mastering. I feel analog is outdated, and people need to stop fawning over the past so much.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I put a lot of love and effort into the song, as if they were my own.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making people happy with my work. It’s a blessing and I am thankful for that.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I can only play guitar.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Hire someone who is professional and kind. And if they are respectful, chances are they will treat your work with respect. So make sure you get along!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: An acoustic-electric guitar, a laptop, an audio interface, a headphone, and a microphone.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been playing acoustic guitars for many years and more importantly I’ve been a music lover for a long time.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Original.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Avicii, Alan Walker, Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake. I like EDM artists because they are so talented and I hope to work with them so I can learn from them.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work in all genres but mostly pop and rock.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Patience.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Hopefully exactly what it needs.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Everything starts with understanding the vision and needs of the client. My work process entirely depends on that.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: A laptop with DAW. Acoustic guitars, electric guitar, piano, ukulele, violin, a microphone, a microphone stand, a pop filter, a microphone cable, a guitar cable and audio interface.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I look up to guitarists like Eddie Van Der Meer, Sungha Jung, Peter Gergely, Jens Julius Tejlgaard, and other underrated guitarists. I also really like EDM producers because they inspired me to make beats and cool tracks.
