Operating out of GrowlHouse Recording offering digital to analog mixing, guitar reamping, drum tracking. Specialized in heavy metal and punk music including bands on Fat Wreck Chords and Alternative Tentacles.
Hi, my name is Ryan and I am primarily a live sound engineer. I have worked at NYC venues such as Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theater and Saint Vitus. I also tour with the band Portugal. The Man as a monitor engineer and backline tech. As a musician, I have played bass for bands such as Today Is the Day and Mutilation Rites. I come from a background of punk, hardcore and metal but also enjoy a variety of music.
Due to the pandemic, I have been focusing on my recording studio and want to get more projects in there.
I offer mixing in and outside the box with an analog console and outboard compression.
You may send me direct guitar tracks which you used for your amp modeler and I can send them through the actual amp with a great selection of mics, mixed through analog equipment in order to achieve a live, unique and huge sound with tons of dimension.
I have a full drum kit and connections to amazing New York City drummers. If you want to flesh out your your project where you programmed your drums, I can add tracks with a real drum recording.
Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.
