I am a classically trained musician and composer who writes and produces their own electronic-indie/experimental music, as well as collaborates with musicians from diverse genres. My training gives me versatility to create complex and masterful arrangements for any genre, as well as play violin and strings at a very high level.
Abraham Brody/IBRA is a composer, performer, and multimedia artist who in his work explores ritual and transformation through sound. He is a collaborator of artist Marina Abramovic and tours internationally. In August 2019 he was commissioned to premiere a new work for voice and orchestra with the Lviv Symphony (Ukraine) in the Ruins of the Great Synagogue of Brody, Ukraine. A 2018 London Jazz Festival Artist, he has been artist in residence at London's Barbican Centre, as well as at National Sawdust in New York. . He has performed at venues such as the Southbank Centre London, Public Theater NYC, National Sawdust NYC (artist in residence 2017-18), Sziget Festival Budapest, Reykjavik Arts Festival, Kennedy Center Washington, D.C., Prague Philharmonic, among many others.
