Vocalist and songwriter: I've worked with top names in the pop- and advertising-industry, delivering professionally recorded vocals in a wide range of genres with over 10 million streams on Spotify. I’ve devoted my life to freedom and authenticity and hope to be able to add my color to your project. I’m a sucker for lush walls of vocals.
Send me a message with what it is you need to see if we’re a match. Lead-vocals, top-lines and choir/backing-recording (and arranging). I love building smooth, lush, full choirs: ah’s & uh’s & WAH’s. Listen to my demos to get an idea of what I can do for you.
Once the track is approved and the job is started, all I need is the bpm, some song references and any specific notes on what kind of vocal you want. My general terms are that my name can't be used on the feature without consent, and a standard 50/50 publishing split on new top-lines and/or lyrics. For complete terms and conditions contact me and we can take it from there.

Interview with Simon Glöde
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My band Gløde from my Hamburg-times will remain a jewel inside my heart.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm creating new music as a solo-artist. Learning the art of production and synthesis once again. I feel like a child. After years of being surrounded by people who did these things for/with me, It is so empowering to be able to bring the sounds in my head into life on my own.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Daft Punk, I think their way of combining genres is supreme. Rick Rubin, a master of stripping things down and knowing when enough is enough.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take breaks without your phone. Cold showers. If you don't have 20 minutes to meditate, you must take 40.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Great focus and energetic sensitivity. I am blessed to have the capacity to get my head out of my ass and ask myself over and over "what does the situation need"?
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'm a meditator and have spent years studying yoga with a tantric master in the himalayan mountains. That translates into everything I do ;-)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depending on the project and the task. For recording vocals I first master the flow. I record every part over and over again until the song is a flow on its own. Then - I record everything again, emphasizing on the vibe and the story that is told. To me getting it "perfect" is a matter of vibration - what swings between the words and the voice.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a U87 going through a 1073 into an Apogee Duet. Listening on KRK's and do everything else in the box via Ableton & Logic. Plugin's are mainly Waves. I use the CLA-2 and Scheps Omni Channel-Strip on most things.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm a handmade-music soul, but love everything that gets people together and moving. I admire those, who build bridges and entertain with a inspiring message. Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus are great contemporary artists to me. Right now I'm on an EDM trip and try to master combining Dance & Folk-inspired production.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I spent most of my time writing and producing for my own projects, but get hired frequently by advertising-campaigns to offer my songwriting or vocals.
