Hi, my name is Yael and I am a singer-songwriter, vocal instructor and choir producer. I am known in my country for my hit female trio "Habanot Nechama", and collaborations with sir George Martin, and Israel's biggest stars such as Shlomo Artzi and Mashina. I have released three solo albums, and collaborated with various international artists.

Yael Deckelbaum is an Israeli-Canadian Singer/Songwriter, a vocal instructor and a founding member of the Israeli female trio “Habanot Nehama”.
Her music incorporates elements of folk, blues, jazz, soul, together with mid eastern influences and ancient jewish music. She has been named the israeli Jony Mitchell, and is know for her wide spectrum of vocal abilities.
Between soft folkie color and deep power soul singing.
Three of her songs were featured on the international TV series “The L Word”.
She is active in Israel as well as the USA & Europe, and her songs are in both Hebrew and English.
In 1999 Yael won first prize for best singer-songwiriter in Israel.
In addition to her own work, Yael has collaborated and performed with various artists such as Sir. George Martin, Livingstone Taylor, Peter Kruder, Yossi Fine, and many more.
Yael has been chosen to be the opening act for Chris Cornell ,opened for Livingstone Taylor on her USA tour 2015, and will open for Suzanne Vega in July 2016 in Stimmen fest. Germany.

Yael can record lead vocals for a melody written by you ore create a melody to fit your playback, with lyrics written by you ore create ones for you. she can arrange and record back vocals.
