Passionate Singer/songwriter and Topliner looking to work with all kinds of different artists. I LOVE music, regardless of genre, and there's nothing more that I love to do than sing!
What I have to offer:
- High quality, tuned vocals
- Lyrics, if needed
- Quick turn-around time
Singing is the biggest passion in my life, so I will work hard to give you the vocals to make your track SHINE.
How it works:
- message me with an attachment of your project, preferably in .wav form
- I'll get to working right away on main vocals and harmonies if needed
- I'll send you a rough sample of what I have so far for approval
- Once I get approval, I'll finish everything up, tune it and send the stems over once the project funds are released
Something that really comes in handy is a reference track! If you're looking for a certain style, please let me know and send me over any reference songs so I know what to aim for.
Super excited to get to work!! Shoot me a message and we'll get your song going! :)

Sami is so talented she can sing on any type of genre, we really had fun working with her. She’s dedicated to her work, listens carefully to work instructions and makes sure that you’re satisfied with what you’re looking for on your song. Looking for to working with her again.
Sami is incredible. She has devoted a lot of time to building skill on top of her natural gift and talent, and that grit is evident in her work. As someone looking to learn from or collaborate with her, she will demonstrate nothing less than the usual passion, perseverance and problem solving that she uses for her own pursuits. The absolute most basic comment I could make here is that her vocals are inspired. Come for vocal brilliance, stay because she is a pleasure to work with.
Sami’s vocals are pristine. She has a gorgeous crystal clear tone that cuts through to the soul. Her melodies are unique and catchy. She’s a real talent and incredibly fun and easy to work with. You won’t be disappointed!
Interview with Sami
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I took a songwriting class a few years ago at a friend's local startup business (which is now thriving) and we ended up recording a whole album of the student songs written during class. It was my first time in a full production setting AND my first full original song, so it was definitely an inspiring project. It made me realize that this is what I want to do forever!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My portfolio - producing some covers and original songs to put on Soundcloud to get myself out there. Time to start chasing that dream!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: BoomFox Productions!! I've learned a lot from the classes she's shared online!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, it's just what I grew up on!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will work my hardest to get them what they are looking for.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I'd love to do this full time because creating music is so exciting and cathartic
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I'm not sure yet, but I'm sure I'll find out!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: When will you need the finished project?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Take a chance! Though I may be new to the platform, I promise to deliver professionalism and timeliness with any project I work on.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Phone, laptop, guitar, mic and audio interface
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Vocally, has to be Tori Kelly or Jessie J simply for the control, power and emotion they have in their voices. SUPER inspired by BTS for their genre-bending hits and their authenticity that definitely shines through in all of their songs. They are living proof that music transcends language. Finally, Twenty One Pilots because they are raw, relatable and their lyrics and music make you think deeply - almost like you are trying to work out a puzzle.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career path is just starting! I've been in customer service since I started working at 16, but I've been too afraid to make the jump into the music business. However, I've been singing for about 10 years, so I'm really looking to get experience through SoundBetter so I can evolve as a vocalist AND a musician.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: It's extremely hard to choose one artist, but I really think Alicia Keys would be amazing to work with. She seems so knowledgeable in everything that she does and I would definitely learn a lot from her. Not to mention her songwriting is incredible!!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Well, I'm still in this stage too, but practice, practice, practice! Never think you've learned enough - once you stop learning, you stop growing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work most on pop songs, that's what I'm connected to the most and that's what I LISTEN to the most so I feel most comfortable there. However, I've also worked on pop/rock and indie/acoustic songs which I find really enjoyable. I'd also love to work on EDM!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion, originality and authenticity
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is more laid back because my voice tends to be a little softer, so I specifically love to sing soft pop songs and acoustic songs. I love layering vocal harmonies to all of my tracks to make them seem a little more airy and atmospheric.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Singing, for sure. :)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My work process is first trying to get the feel and emotion of song before I record vocals. I like to make sure I have the right atmosphere and then I record the vocals. I'm a perfectionist, so I try to get them to sound as in-tune as possible while also making sure the emotion is there. Then I will comp the vocals I think sound best, tune if need be, maybe add a little reverb or delay depending on what the song requires and send it off!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a small set up in my bedroom (hoping for an upgrade later!) consisting of an Audio-Technica cardioid condenser microphone, a Focusrite Scarlett Solo audio interface and an AxcessAbles Recording Studio Microphone Isolation Shield with a pop filter
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
