I graduated from Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, majoring in Audio Production & Engineering. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm proud of all my projects. They're like my babies. You can check out my credits on my profile.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on a full lenght album at the moment.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I dont know anyone else on SoundBetter at the moment. However if I do have the chance to meet some new people on this platform, I would definitely recommend to my clients.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I always loved creating, especially music. I'm thankful that I'm able to do what I love everyday.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Alot of clients would give me rough ideas for a mix or a master. My answer is usally to give me a few reference tracks to get a better understanding of what direction the client is going for.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been making music professionally for over 10 years. Writing, Performing, Producing, Mixing & Mastering Engineering etc.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm currently using Focal Solo6be for monitor speakers. For my audio interface, I'm using the RME Fireface UFX2 and RME Babyface Pro. For Microphones I'm using the AKG C414B and Neumann TLM-102.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that people think musicians live a flashy lifestyle.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually listen to the song first and try to understand what direction the song should go.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. There are pros and cons to both. In this day and age, you can get away with just using digital, but its still hard to replicate that analog sound. The best way is to use both in my opinion.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to make the best quality music I possibly can.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your vision for this song/project?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please be precise (labeling, sending stems etc), know what you want, and communicate.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Focal Trio6be, Neumann U87, Neve MBP2, Fireface UFX II, ATH-M50X
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Versatile.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: If I could go back in time, I would definitely work with Marvin Gaye. Not alot of his process was documented, so I would love to pick his brain and see how he works.

A: Never be complacent.
