PRICING: $600 per canvas. If you have a very specific idea in mind or pre-exisiting artwork to use as reference, I can sometimes give a discount. I also have a $750 deal for album art/canvas art as a set.

3 WEEK TURNAROUND TIME. I have a full time animation job and am doing these on the side and animation takes a long time. I will send works in progress throughout that time for approval so it's not all waiting.

Interview with Shane Beam

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Wanted to be an artist since I was a kid, got a BFA in Animation learning from incredible veteran animators, animated social media memes for a year after I graduated, directed my first music video in 2018 and have been working on independent projects ever since.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What does the track mean to you? Any personal insight is the best thing to work with on my end. Do you have any ideas, specific requests, supplementary visual material or pre-existing art for the project? If not, that's totally ok, the first question will help us get started.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After gather all the musicians input and discussing ideas, I create several sketches in Procreate, take those and animate frame by frame in TVPaint (at least 12 drawings per second), and composite, color grade, add FX, and render in After Effects. There are several check in points throughout where I will send works in progress.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I sketch on an iPad Pro, animate on a 24 inch Wacom Cintiq Pro display, and edit on a beefy Macbook.
