Born in Lagos, Spesh OG grew up listening to the worlds music from the eye of one who envisioned a world that listened to HIS music. From the juju of Sunny Ade to the Fuji of Ayinde Wasiu, to the RnB of legendary Styl-Plus, straight to the epic run of albums from Alapomeji 9ice, to the Traps of Tory Lanez and Young Thug, Kanye’s boasts and the sonorous voice of Fatai Rolling dollar and hundreds of other amazing musicians world over, Spesh loved and became the music he listened to... writing in an old foolscap book he patched together, he began his journey of creating his own story in his own commanding baritone and every other twist he could add to his vocal output. Today, he sits on an incredible discography that spans different genres and styles that seem like anyone’s and at the same time nobody’s, he flows sturdily on beats like a Mercedes on Lekki-Epe expressway, sings and traps and raps. Whether on his songs or numerous collaborations, Spesh OG is a shining light that has refused to dim everytime called upon.
