John is an experienced Recording & Mix Engineer and Record Producer. Most of John's time these days is spent Mixing for Major Label and Independent artists. Recent clients include Tate McRae, Jonah Kagen, Rozes, Jake Scott, Gavin Haley and Josie Dunne among numerous others.
John spent several years in Los Angeles as the in house engineer for A-List songwriter-producer, Dan Wilson. During that time he racked up impressive credits on projects for Taylor Swift, Pink, Florence + The Machine, Foxes, Colbie Caillat, Birdy, Gavin DeGraw and others, as well as a Grammy nomination for his work on Swift’s multi-platinum album, RED. Immediately after relocating to Nashville in Dec 2016, John linked up with producer Jacquire King to engineer much of Niall Horan’s solo debut, Flicker, which simultaneously hit #1 on iTunes in 55 countries. Quickly after saw the release of Moon Taxi’s, “Two High”, which has generated over 140mil streams on Spotify alone. The years since have brought additional mix and production credits with Tate McRae, Rozes, Dierks Bentley, Lanco, DAHL, Jake Scott, Gavin Haley, Josie Dunne, Daughtry, Moon Taxi, Grizfolk, R.LUM.R., Hudson Taylor, Aaron Espe, The Revelries and others.
