Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: At the moment I work on an interesting new project "trap-inspired" in Italian

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: At the momento no. because in Italy this platform is not so well known. A shame because can rewrite the rules of the game in our digital era.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Mixing digital because is so fast and reliable when you have many project to work on. But always try to sound analog even in ITB and love to use summing units when they are.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: My promise is that I would give my best on any project. Music need out love to grow well.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love to get exited with all new music. And love to be one of the fist people can fall in love with.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Customers always ask me about what I Think of they song. and I always give my honest opinion, that maybe result in a change in the arrangement or in the production that improve the song. Honesty is the most important thing in music

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: I'm my country most of the "common" people don't realize what's behind a music production. As a sound engineer people think I simply stamp CDs

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I always ask if their satisfy of their production/song and if they want to boost it up. because You can always do it better and I'm here to give my help.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: If you looking for a person that really loves music and what it does you find the right person. I always try to give best advice I can give and try to satisfy the client until the end.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: 1 - my Computer .2 - my genelec monitors .3 - Neve 1015 .4 - Tube Tech CL1-B 5. Sony C-800

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I always been a musician and after i graduated I start my career in Italy in Fonjka Factory studio several year ago. From then to now I always worked on Multiplatinum top chart piece of music.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I try to have always a punch / midrange style of mixing because for my hear is the best way a can get a balanced and interesting mix.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would like to work with Post Malone, because his Trap music style mixed with that Rock/Country vide it's to awesome. I think would be so fun to work with thank piece of music music and such an artist.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Do whatever you fell right and listen to tons of music.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I really work on many type of music. But mainly I work on POP, POP-ROCK and TRAP/HIP HOP music.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest Skill I think is my taste, understand when a song need a boost of character or need balance.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I try to bring life to a song, boost the strong points, give vide to the elements and dynamic to the overall mix. Just like I "play" the song as an instrument, because the music itself il my musical instrument.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Receive the files, organize it in my session, then listen to the rough mix until I start understand the flow of the song maybe adjusting little sound i fell their need something and gradually proceed to give the sound I want to each track as I get into the vibe of the song. lastly, after i get the sound i want and understand the flow of the song, start with automation and riding the song just the way I want and check the overall balance.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I love simplicity so my setup is simple. At the moment I work ITB on Pro Tools, using hardware only during recording. I always try to don't sound live I'm in the computer's world using plugins because for me is the right things to do due to my hear but I love the simplicity and the fast work flow that the ITB mixing can offer.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: My professional inspiration is Chris Lord Alge. His taste match mine and his approach to mixing is so musical, punch but also please to the hear. Most of the record I've listened from my childhood to now are been mixed by Chris.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: As a mixing Engineer my job is to give a vibe to a song. Improve what I have to a next level thanks to my experience and my personal ear on the music. Always look for the best result for my clients.
